This was an assignment for a class... about artistic expression, I think.
Alright, I don't remember the name of the class, but it was pretty fucking cool -- the professor was a musician and he gave us all trainee teachers (I am no longer a trainee teacher );) a cursory formation on film, music and painting. This was the final assignment, a watercolor painting. Since I'm a perfectionist, everything I produce must be looked at from all possible angles, then polished and rendered (digitally or otherwise). I didn't keep the final painting.

I became aware of René Magritte's work thanks to that class. This drawing is not really like, based on his stuff, but my best friend says it has a Magrittean quality? Maybe I was just having a case of cryptomnesia?
